Ray-Bar Lead Lined Cylindrical Lever Locksets
Available as Locking or as Passage Lead Lined Lever Locksets. Ray-Bar utilizes one of the toughest cylindrical locks for heavy-duty medical,hospital,commercial or industrial applications. Entrance function Extra Heavy Duty commercial cylindrical "Rhodes style" lever. ANSI Grade 1 locks designed for use in hospitals and universities that meet or exceeds 800,000 cycles. Specifically built for heavy duty applications.

Lead Lined Lockset
Lead Lining of Customer-Supplied Locksets
Lead lining of door hardware is for mortised or lever locksets, closer covers and other devices. They are available in 7 lead thicknesses. Available as a service of Ray-Bar internally lead lining your cylindrical or mortised lever lockset with a typical 2 business day turn around after received from customer.
Optionally Ray-Bar offers the following 2 types of lead lined cylindrical lever locksets complete as a package,boxed and shipped directly to customers location via UPS.
Lead Lined Light Proof Door Louvers
Lead Lined Light Proof Door Louvers
Fabricated with 18 gauge steel, painted non-reflective flat black with lead lining as specified by customer. Ray-Bar lead lined light proof louvers will fit in doors from 1-3/8" thick to 1-3/4" thick, and provide a complete overlap for radiation shielding and 20% air flow.

Frame Lead Lining Kits
Lead lining kit made to fit most hollow metal or aluminum frame profiles, available in 10 lead thicknesses. Available as either "flat" lead kit or as pre-formed profile to fit most typical hollow metal frames.
Lead lining must be installed by customer internally inside frame throat on same side of frame as radiation room x-ray source side.
Customer must order lead lining thickness as the same or greater as the lead in that wall or partition that frame occurs in.(As Required Per NCRP #49 and #147)

Ray-Bar’s Lead Lined Vision Lite Frames are fabricated with 18 gauge cold-rolled steel with baked enamel or powder coated color finishes, mitered corners and internal lead lining to specified shielding requirements. The x-ray safety glass is permanently labeled and meets ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 CAT 2 for impact resistance requirements.
Stock sizes: 8x10, 10x10, 10x12, 12x12, 12x16, 16x16, 18x18, 18x24, 18x30, 18x36, 24x24, 24x30, 24x36 and 36x36 are promptly available and ready to ship. Custom sizes are also available.
Metal vision frames are available with "Snap-On" real wood veneers that are easily stainable. They are available in Red Oak, Mahogany, Maple and Cherry to give a close match to your natural wood veneer lead lined door. All lead lined frames and x-ray lead safety glass and ceramic glazing assemblies are also available as UL fire-rated 20 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute (with size limitations).

Lead Lined Astragals
Ray-Bar Lead Lined Astragal
Lead Lined Astragals are utilized between a pair of lead lined doors. Ray-Bar shielded astragals are easy to install and available in standard 1/16" / 1.6mm / 4# lead lining and sized as 2" wide in galvanized primed steel, clear anodized aluminum, or 304 stainless steel with a vertical #4 brush grained finish. Higher lead shielding of Ray-Bar astragals are also available to match your doors shielding requirements.

Ray-Bar X-Ray Glass Shielded Peephole
X-Ray Glass Shielded Peephole
- Installs in minutes into existing lead door

The Ray-Bar X-Ray Shielded Viewport "peephole" with x-ray lead glass provides 2mm lead equivalency and 1" diameter fisheye lens for a view of 180 degrees on x-ray imaging side. Fabricated to fit into lead lined shielded door thicknesses from 1-3/8" and up to 2-1/8" thick.
This unit fits into 9/16" drilled mounting hole at eye level and installs in minutes. UL listed for 45 minute fire-rated doors. It offers one-way operator viewing of patient and procedures while also providing patient privacy. Fabricated for installation in wood or metal shielded doors.
Ray-Bar Lead Lined Metal Door Frames
Hollow Metal Lead Lined Welded Frames
- Only offered if purchased with Ray-Bar Lead Lined Hollow Metal Doors.
- Hollow Metal Welded Frames are 16 gauge primered steel with anchors for metal studs, wood studs or concrete "cast in place" or retro-fit bolt-anchor (Hilti) into existing concrete or masonry walls.
- Equal rabbet or single step rabbet frame profiles can be formed to fit wall thicknesses from 5" up to 24"
- Heavier 14 gauge or 12 gauge hollow metal frames available for higher radiation lead shielding applications.
- Welded Frames must be installed prior to any lead backed drywall.
- Lead Lined Welded HM frames typically available in approximately 15 to 21 working days
- Customer must order frames with same lead thickness as in wall or partition.
- Customer must order frames internally lead lined on same side as radiation.
- Available in 12 lead thickness levels of internal shielding within frame throats.
