Ray-Bar's ballistic wall panels are designed to absorb the energy of bullets and blasts to prevent them from penetrating through the panel. We manufacture ballistic wall panels in two resistance levels: Level 3 (rated for handgun resistance) and Level 8 (rated for rifle resistance).

Level 3 Bullet Resistant Wall Panels

Ray-Bar provides UL-752 Level 3 handgun bullet-resistant panels type “RBBB” for ballistic safety applications. Level 3 Ballistic Panels are 1/2" thick flat rigid panels and weigh 5 ¼" lbs per square foot. Performance standards for Level 3 Handgun bullet-resistant panels include:

• UL 752 Level 3 Ballistic Panel (Handgun)
• NIJ 0108.01 Level IIIA (Handgun)
• Resistant to handguns up to .44
• 3 shots in 12" x 12" area
• 1 Hour fire-resistant ASTM E 119

Level 8 Bullet Resistant Wall Panels

Ray-Bar also supplies UL752 Level 8 rifle bullet-resistant panels for all ballistic safety applications. Level 8 Ballistic Panels are 1 7/16" thick flat rigid panels and weigh 16 lbs per square foot. Common Level 8 Ballistic Wall Panels applications include military facilities, police stations, courthouses, and other environments requiring heavy firearm protection. Physical properties of Level 8 bullet-resistant wall panels include:

• UL 752 Level 8 Ballistic Panel (Rifle)
• NIJ 0108.01 Level III (Rifle)
• Resistant Rifle up to 7.62 x 51 / 308 WIN
• 5 Shots in 12” x 12” ARA
• 1-hour fire-resistant ASTM E 119
• Resistant to forced entry
